Please note!

1. You can apply even if there is not a current agreement with your home institution.

2. Unfortunately, an application for the following subjects isn't possible for the upcoming academic year:

- Music Theatre Direction

- Viola

- Flute

- Trumpet

- Double bass

- Saxophone

- Guitar

- Trombone

3. You are asked to apply for a specific semester which you should mention in your application. You find a study plan / module catalogue by clicking on the subjects here

Application Period

15 March - 08 April for both winter semester (October start) and summer semester (April start)

Application Portal

You can apply for Erasmus only via the portal muvac. Applications can be submitted via the application portal from 15 March on.

Please note, HfM does not accept applications via EASY.

Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered. Make sure that recording links work and are available without any password/login information.

The Learning Agreement should include a listing of all the courses you would like to attend at HfM. It is possible to choose from our offered electives which change every semester and which are published 1 - 2 months before the start of the semester.

Please discuss any changes to your Learning Agreement directly with your home institution.

• Language of Instruction: German, some of the courses are held in English
• Recommended Language Level: German or English, B1
• HfM offers German language courses as electives for Erasmus+ students (free of charge)
