On muvac you can upload video and audio recordings in the course of your application at the HfM Hanns Eisler Berlin.
Based on the uploades audio/video recordings the pre-selection is made subsequent to the application period.
Requirements Recordings
One video or three individual videos according to the requirements of the repertoire.
The applicant must be clearly visible.
No cuts may be made within a movement/piece.
The videos must not be older than one year and may contain works from the prepared examination program.
Requirements Repertoire
Three works of free choice as follows:
of a self-directed rehearsal with a singer/singers or instrumental soloists
of an opera scene (singing and playing)
of a solo work on the piano

Audition Exam Process
The audition exam consists of two rounds. After the first round, the Exam Committee will decide who will proceed to the following round.
Audition Programme First Round
accompaniment of an instrumental concerto with own soloist (late romantic era or modern)
singing and playing of an opera scene with several participants (late romantic era, in original language)
Audition Programme Second Round
30-minute ensemble rehearsal (with singers and soloists) Applicants must display their talent in working with singers. The candidate is expected to show good rehearsal technique and the ability to execute own interpretative ideas.
The work will be announced at the latest four weeks before the audition exam. Singers will be provided by the school.
Applicants must prove an above average talent in general musical areas and technical piano skills.
