Advanced musical ability in the programme subject which must be demonstrated in the audition exam
Foreign applicants who do not have a German university entry permission must possess sufficient knowledge of the German language. The following requirements must both be met in order to provide proof:
Presentation of a language certificate of level B 2.2 according to the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The Language certificates must be submitted during enrolment at the latest.
In the music theory examination, applicants must prove that they have sufficient programme-related German language skills for communication and study.

Based on the uploaded files and audio/video recordings the pre-selection is made subsequent to the application period.

About the submitted works, study motivations and goals
RKM-recognizes German music school and are applying to transfer to HFM are exempt from taking the exams in piano, composition, and ear training if they are able to provide a matriculation certificate/certificate of enrolment.
