Lied Interpretation for Pianists

• Bachelor of Music or equivalent in piano
• Advanced musical ability in the programme subject which must be demonstrated in the audition exam

For the pre-selection the platform muvac is used. 

On muvac you can upload video and audio recordings in the course of your application at the HfM Hanns Eisler Berlin.

Based on the uploades audio/video recordings the pre-selection is made subsequent to the application period.

• Applicants upload the entire audition programme to one of the video/audio platforms mentioned above.
  • The two solo works (one work by Bach and one classical work, one movement each is sufficient) must be uploaded as video.
  • The ten Lieder of free choice must be uploaded as video or audio recording (with vocal partner), at least three Lieders must be a video recording.
• Please note that singers will not be organised by the school.

The audition exam consists of one exam on the major and one subsequent discussion of suitability if applicable.
