School Library
The library at Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin is located on the 3rd floor of the main building (Charlottenstr. 55) and is open to all students, teachers and other school staff. It holds an extensive collection of approximately 14 400 books, 57 000 scores and 4100 CDs/Videos. Media can be researched online and reserved through the online catalogue.

Since winter semester 2018/19, university members have had an extensive range of e-media at their disposal (including Nkoda, Henle App, Naxos Music Library, Naxos Video Library, Digital Concert Hall, MGG online etc.).
Loan periods
- Sheet music and books: 4 weeks (5 extensions possible)
Extention of the loan period
Loan periods can be extended via the online catalogue under the menu point "user account".
The name is the library card number; the initial password is the six-digit date of birth without dots (ddmmyy).
After the fifth renewal, the media must be returned or presented for further loan.
